Set Up Your Store

This guide explains how to customize and set up the essential information for your store on the Furzo marketplace once your seller account has been created or activated.

Go to Store Settings

1. Sign in to your Furzo account.
2. Go to your seller dashboard.
3. Go to the store settings section, usually via a link like this: https://furzo-marketplace.com/dashboard/settings/store/ (or via the “Settings” > “Store” menu).

Customize the Look of Your Store

These visual elements are crucial to your store’s identity.

1. Store banner:
   • At the top of the settings page, you'll find the option to add or edit your banner.
   • Click the corresponding button (“Add a banner” or similar) and upload an image that represents your brand or your designs.
   • Importance : This banner will be displayed prominently on your store's page.
2. Profile picture / Store icon:
   • Just below the banner, you can add or change your store's icon.
   • Click to download your image.
   • Importance : This icon will appear next to your store's name in the list of stores and on your page.

General Store Information

Check and complete the basic information.

1. Store name: Check that the name displayed is correct (it is usually set during registration).
2. Store categories:
   • Select the category or categories that best describe the products or services you offer.
   • Note: You can choose several categories to boost your store's visibility.
3. Address & Phone Number: Please verify that the address and phone number associated with your store are correct. This information may be used for billing or contact purposes.

Legal and Functional Options

1. Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&C):
   • Look for an option such as “Agree to the Terms and Conditions.”
   • If you enable this option, a text field will appear allowing you to draft your own terms and conditions.
   • Very important: Your customized Terms and Conditions will be displayed on your store. They must comply with French law in effect. Please ensure they are compliant. If disabled, the default Terms and Conditions from Furzo will apply.
2. Catalog Mode:
   • You will find an option labeled “Enable catalog mode.”
   • When you enable this mode, the “Add to Cart” button and direct purchase features will be disabled for your products at Furzo.
   • Purpose: This is ideal if you want to use Furzo primarily as a showcase or a portfolio to showcase your creations.
3. Biography / Shop Description:
   • Use this field to introduce yourself, describe your artistic style and techniques, or provide useful information to your shop visitors. This is an important space for connecting with your customers.

Save Changes

• Don't forget to click the button “Update settings” ou “Save changes” at the bottom of the page so that all your changes are saved.

Taking the time to set up these settings properly will make your store on Furzo more appealing and professional!
