This guide explains how to customize and configure your store's essential information on the Furzo marketplace, once your seller account has been created or activated.
Go to Shop Settings
- Log in to your Furzo account.
- Go to your seller dashboard.
- Go to the store settings section, usually via a link like this one: https://furzo-marketplace.com/dashboard/settings/store/ (or via the «Settings» > «Shop» menu).
Customize Your Shop's Appearance
These visual elements are crucial to your store's identity.
- Store banner :
- At the very top of the settings page, you'll find the option to add or modify your banner.
- Click on the corresponding button («Add a banner» or similar) and upload an image representative of your brand or creations.
- Importance: This banner will be displayed large on your store page.
- Profile picture / Shop icon :
- Just below the banner, you can add or modify your store icon.
- Click to download your image.
- Importance: This icon will appear next to your store name in the store list and on your page.
Store General Information
Check and complete the basic information.
- Store name : Check that the name displayed is correct (normally defined during registration).
- Store categories :
- Select the category or categories that best describe the products or services you offer.
- Note: You can choose several categories to improve your store's visibility.
- Address & Phone : Check that the address and telephone number associated with your store are correct. This information may be used for billing or contact purposes.
Legal and functional options
- General Terms and Conditions (GTC) :
- Look for an option like «Enable terms and conditions».
- If you activate this option, a text field will appear allowing you to draw up your own terms and conditions.
- Very important: Your personalized terms and conditions will be visible in your store. They must imperatively comply with French legislation in force. Please ensure that they are compliant. If disabled, Furzo's default T&Cs will apply.
- Catalog mode :
- You'll find an option called «Enable catalog mode».
- By activating this mode, the «Add to cart» button and direct purchase functionalities will be activated. disabled for your products on Furzo.
- Usefulness: This is ideal if you want to use Furzo primarily as a showcase or a portfolio to show off your creations.
- Biography / Shop description:
- Use this field to introduce yourself, describe your artistic world, your techniques, or give useful information to visitors to your store. It's an important space for connecting with your customers.
Save Modifications
- Don't forget to click on the «Update settings» or «Save changes» at the bottom of the page to take all your changes into account.
